Glamour modeling
Glamour modeling is all about sex appeal. It's not about selling clothes, cosmetics or jewelry. Terms like pin-up and cheesecake may be applied to some glamour modeling. Bikini and lingerie modeling and most nude modeling falls into the glamour category. Typical glamour modeling assignments might include photographs to appear in cheesecake calendars, pin-ups/posters, postcards, novelty web sites, 'girlie' magazines and special interest publications. The biggest difference in glamour modeling v/s fashion modeling is that the photograph is not selling some other product, the publication itself is the product. For example, a sexy girl on a postcard isn't selling the bikini she's wearing; the postcard itself is the product she's selling.
Glamour models are sometimes hired through modeling agencies, but the majority of glamour modeling work is booked directly with individual photographers and small business owners.
Glamour modeling often involve sexually suggestive poses and nudity, so minimum age of 18 is strictly enforced.
Glamour modeling is not the same as pornography. In glamour, nudity will only be done in a tasteful, artistic manner and when and where it is appropriate and lawful.

women who fall below the minimum height requirements of many
agencies.

Plus size modeling
Plus-size models are models who are hired to represent the
plus-size woman, and generally range in size from a misses'
size 8 all the way up to a woman's size 32/34. These models
participate in a variety of modeling jobs including print,
runway, and fit modeling. (NOTE: There are, however, NO height
requirements for commercial modeling.)
Plus petite modeling is also another area; however, the work
for this type of modeling is scarce at best. These models are
usually the same size range as taller plus size models, but
their height is 5'6 and under.
Plus-size models have many of the same requirements as the
standard models do. They are usually tall (5'7 to 6'0), have a
beautiful face, great bone structure, clear skin, a gorgeous
smile, and a well proportioned body. They often find work from
their mid-teens all the way through middle age and work in
markets all over the US and around the world.
